 Our current line of products is specifically formulated to meet the unique needs of Type 4 hair (4A, 4B, 4C). They are designed to support moisture retention, reduce breakage, and improve overall scalp and hair health.

However, our pre-poo oil blend and shampoo can be used for all hair types, including straight, curly, or coily hair.

Our ethos is that Type 4 hair is, by nature, higher on the porosity scale, based on scientific, trichology-based evidence. Therefore, if you have Type 4 hair, our formulations are designed to meet the unique characteristics of your hair type.

This depends on your hair’s needs, but generally:

• Shampoo: This should be used at least once a week, as a clean scalp environment is essential for a healthy head of hair.

• Leave-in deep conditioner: 2–3 times a week, depending on your hair’s moisture needs.

• Sealant butter: This should be used whenever you use a conditioner. It should be layered on top of your conditioner to help reduce water loss from the hair shaft.

Consistency is key for long-term results.

Our products are intentionally formulated to work synergistically, meaning they build on one another to deliver optimal results when used as a complete system.

However, it is not always necessary to purchase every product. For example, if you already have a shampoo that works well for you, you can continue using it alongside our formulations.

That said, some products are specifically designed to be used together. For instance, our conditioner and sealant butter are formulated to complement each other, so we highly recommend using them as a pair for best results.

If you already have a conditioner you love, the sealant butter can still be purchased on its own. It can be layered on top of your existing conditioner to enhance shine, improve softness, and support moisture retention.

No, you do not need to wash it out. This is a 3-in-1 formulation designed to function as a conditioner, deep conditioner, and leave-in conditioner in one.

It is specifically formulated to remain in the hair, allowing continuous hydration, softness, and manageability throughout the day.

By combining multiple steps into one product, it also helps simplify your routine—saving both time and money without compromising on results.

A pre-poo (pre-shampoo) treatment is used on dry hair before cleansing to prepare the hair for washing and make detangling easier.

Our pre-poo oil blend is specifically designed to support finger detangling on dry hair before shampooing. When hair is wet and in a highly shrunken state, it is structurally more fragile and more susceptible to tangling, increasing the risk of breakage during detangling.

By keeping the hair more stretched during this stage, you can remove tangles more efficiently before introducing water.

While this step is not mandatory, it can be a game-changer—particularly for those struggling with length retention. Pre-detangling the hair before shampooing can significantly help to reduce breakage.

Yes. Our products are ideal for maintaining moisture while your hair is in protective styles, such as braids or twists, using your natural hair.

Using the right products only solves one part of the complex equation of maintaining a healthy head of hair. Breakage can result from factors such as:

• Mechanical damage (tight styles, rough handling)

• Inappropriate use of protective styling

As all orders are made in small batches, they are typically processed within 5–7 working days and are always shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Delivery times vary depending on your location, but you should typically receive your order the day after it has been dispatched.

We do not currently offer international shipping, but it will be available from July 2026.

Orders can only be changed or cancelled within a limited time after purchase. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours.
