Turning Hair Struggles Into Science-Led Solutions
My name is Lola Ebose, and my journey to founding this brand began with frustration, pain, and ultimately, hope.
For years, I struggled with my own hair—particularly chronic dryness, brittleness, and constant breakage. No matter how many products I tried, no matter how glowing the reviews, nothing seemed to truly nourish my hair.
Over time, it became more than just a physical issue—it took an emotional toll. I often felt weighed down by disappointment, and my hair occupied far too much negative space in my mind.
Toward the end of my time at university, I made a quiet but defining promise to myself: one day, I would create products that truly serve women with 4C hair. I knew, deep down, that moisturised, healthy hair wasn’t reserved for looser textures—it was possible for us type 4 girlies too.
That promise stayed with me—but I also knew that creating real solutions would require more than personal experience alone.
This led me to pursue a qualification in Trichology, where I developed a deep and growing understanding of the human scalp and hair.
My studies sparked a genuine passion—not only for textured hair, but for scalp health as a whole, including hair loss and the many factors that influence how hair grows and behaves across different hair types.
Years later, I found the courage to bring that promise to life—to create products that truly serve the unique needs of those with type 4 hair.
With both lived experience and a trichological foundation, I poured myself into research—spending hundreds of hours studying ingredients, testing formulations, and carefully developing products designed to address the unique challenges of textured hair.
The road wasn’t easy. There were moments of discouragement, sleepless nights, and financial sacrifice as I invested in ingredients and testing. But through every setback, I remained committed to creating something that truly worked.
After persistent trial and refinement, I finally created a formulation that delivered the results I had always hoped for—hair that felt deeply nourished and moisturised.
What began as a personal struggle has grown into a mission: to offer thoughtful, effective solutions for textured hair, while also supporting individuals more broadly through my expertise in scalp and hair health.
This brand is more than haircare—it is my commitment to creating solutions grounded in both lived experience and trichological knowledge, driven by a genuine desire to serve.
